About Alexandria
Growing up English has always been my personal favorite subject in school. It was mainly due to the fact that I had teachers who encouraged self expression through writing. As I was able to express myself in what I felt to be a creative realm. I was able to gain appreciation for writing and truly flourish. I hope that if you decide to choose me as your tutor , it will allow you to tape into your own creative side when it comes to writing and hopefully with my help you may start to enjoy writing yourself.

The focus of these lessons will include having students read essays and learn to dissect them. This means they will be able to identify what makes the essay strong or weak in their opinion. I will also introduce lots of brainstorming in the form of having students explain how to they would critique the essays they have read (Positively and Negatively) . While also formulating their own essay topic ideas and jotting down their ideas on their laptop or on paper (whichever is preferred) . Also if they have specific assignments they would like help on we can work on that as well (like essays for school that they are struggling on. We will also work on proofreading our work and engaging the reader through using more advanced words to make it more captivating. These lessons are meant to be fun and judgement free. I aim for these lessons to be catered to fellow students who are in grade 8 to 12th grade as well as undergraduate students in College/University . *Parents consent is permitted for students under 18*.
