About Aubrey

Most of most of what I have learned about tutoring other people is that more than half the job is just being their hype man. What I mean is that for whatever reason most of my students lacked self-confidence which was their biggest obstacle in achieving their dreams. Not a single one of them was stupid or unable to learn. A lot of them had been diagnosed with a learning disability but we found a way to teach them. Everyone is capable of learning. Not everyone learns the same. Our public education system has failed a sizable chunk of the population by implementing education with a one-size-fits-all approach. Some of them we had to build on their skills and start with a very, very basics. I'm not saying that I can make it easy for you. I can't promise that. But what I will say is that I can make it possible. I will help you find a way to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

About the lesson

Hi! My name is Aubrey. I have several years experience tutoring people of all skill levels for their GED. I graduated high school with honors in AP Calculus and statistics as well as AP English Composition I and II. As a high school student I tutored younger kids, mostly high school and middle school. As an adult I tutor high school students and adults of all ages. Have also worked at a staffing agency where I helped several people with their resumes on a regular basis and helped teach them resume building skills so that they could update their resumes themselves in the future and optimize their chances for success.
