About Emily

I am currently a student myself and I have found that I understand so much more when another person closer to my age teaches and guides me. I want to give young people the opportunity to excel in their work and enjoy the subjects they are taking. I have a passion for learning which shows through my teaching and helps me to motivate you to do your best and get the grades you want.

About the lesson

My approach is tailored to each individual I teach. I will assess with you, what level you are at and the areas you need improvement and support in. My lessons will be between 45 minutes to 2 hours dependent on the amount of support you need and the time frame you want your improvement to fit into. I have experience in tutoring, from setting up support groups in my college, and from tutoring multiple young people, through word of mouth, ages between 4 and 13. My lessons are for GCSE and A level students who are taking psychology, sociology, and I also teach BTEC level 2 Health and social care, in which I received a distinction in when taking it in college.
