- Over 20 years experience as a full-time professional musician, playing classical, jazz, popular and sacred music.
- Now a full-time college professor, teaching private lessons and classroom music courses and directing large and small ensembles.
- 3 Degrees in music education and performance, including a Doctor of Musical Arts in Applied Trumpet (with Music Theory emphasis) from the University of Connecticut.

Balancing the many elements of efficient trumpet playing can be confusing. I’ll help you identify physical obstacles and develop technical and mental proficiency so that you can reach your goal of just making music! Many years of experience, first as a full-time professional trumpet player and now as a full-time college professor, mean that I’ve seen many of the challenges we face as trumpet players and developed approaches that will help you continue your journey with the instrument.
