About Abrar

I am a twice Western University alumnus. I received my bachelors of specialization in Health Sciences in 2009 and I have obtained my Masters in Professional Education with a focus on Educational Leadership in 2020. I have been part of the Western Community for a big part of my life as both staff and student. Currently working as the Continuous Improvement Coordinator for Western Engineering.
I also a part-time college professor with a focus on first year and self development courses.

About the lesson

I focus on first year and international/transition experiences to increase the student learning outcome and prepare them to meet the multi-dimensional challenges of higher education. My lessons will leave you with tactics on how to quickly adapt and best navigate through college/university.

My goal is to:

• Prepare YOU for academic success and career readiness
• Help you build foundational skills to become a “good student”
