About Symeria
Hi, My name is Symeira. I am a proud graduate of Hinds Community College where I excelled in all my science courses earning nothing less than a B average. As a former college student, I understand the challenges that come with learning new material, and I strive to create a patient environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I take each lesson seriously by coming prepared and organized. I maintain a positive attitude throughout my lessons and I also make sure to instill confidence in my students. School is not easy, but with hard work and dedication it can become a bit easier.

My teaching method is centered around patience, encouragement, and making sure the student actually understands the material. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I try my best to adjust my methods to the individual's needs. I typically like to use explanations, practice questions, writing, and flashcards. Prior to the lesson, I like to know what the student needs assistance with so that I can prepare materials. I want to ensure a smooth lesson that will be worthwhile. My lessons are for students who need help with their coursework, want to strengthen their understanding of biology, or want to prepare for an exam.
