About Bridget
Hi, I'm Bridget! I am a recent graduate from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a degree (B.A.) in Spanish language. I have taught and tutored all ages but specialize in high school and college Spanish. I would love to work with you!
I am not a native speaker of Spanish but I have studied abroad in both Spain and Chile during my college career and have been studying the language for over 10 years. The work I do now also has me practicing Spanish with youth and their families.
I am currently working in a group home setting with at-risk youth and intend on one day getting my master's in social work to serve youth of immigrant families and Spanish-speaking communities in Massachusetts.

I focus a lot on an individual's learning style rather than sticking to my own method or lesson plan. I am here to listen to what you need to succeed on your own!
I'm not interested in dictating or giving speeches on how I have fulfilled my own goals. It's all about figuring out what works best for you and how you are able to problem solve with and without someone else to help you.
I prioritize organization, teamwork, patience, and flexibility. I believe there is time to work as well as time to rest adequately.

If you need to cancel, I prefer if it is done with at least a 12-hour notice (it's okay, we've all done it before! Just give me time to plan).
Cancellation before the scheduled meeting but without notice on time will result in a $15 fee. If there is no notice, there will be a $25 fee.
