About Aislinn
I graduated from MSUM with an early childhood degree, and have a Minnesota teaching license. The basis of early education is literacy, and I have a background of teaching classes and individual students how to read. I have a passion for teaching young minds and am excited to support those who would like to read better.

My focus during each lesson is to practice phonemic awareness in order to help the student decode each word, strengthening the l of fluent reading. My lessons are engaging, you know what to expect, and I never test, only informal observations to help keep data on how I can improve the lessons. My lessons are based off of UFLI phonemic awareness lessons and other research-based phonics courses. I love books and reading, and will incorporate books that support the development of reading and fluency.
