About Tabitha
I have been tutoring for about three years now and have taught about a dozen students. Under my tutelage students have excelled in English reading and writing. In high school I received a 700 on my English literature SAT and have excelled in all of my college English classes.

I give lessons to students of all ages. I like to take a strategic approach to reading literature, reading and writing poetry, and writing essays. What I love about English is that readers and writers can be as creative as they want to be, however, there is still a structure when it comes to reading and writing. For example essays are structured and I like to break down the components of an essay paragraph by paragraph. Poetry is also structured, which is why prose are my favorite thing to read. Poetry has a formula to its architecture and I live for breaking it down and teaching it to others. I enjoy the structure of teaching English because it allows me to break down the components of a certain text and allows the student to easily follow. English is so much fun and I want other students to start thinking the same way with their studies.
