About Shrey
About Me:
Hi everyone, my name is Shrey Mehta! I recently graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelors of Science in Business. I am currently working in banking and am looking to give back to others through mentorship!
Since high school, I have been through many of the tough processes that students face, and I know just how daunting it can be. It almost never ends: ACT/SAT prep, college applications, collegiate-level course tutoring, finance job recruiting; students constantly have to be tackling new challenges.
Acceptance rates for schools and jobs are going down, and it is only getting more competitive. Even with me putting in a tremendous amount of effort a few years back, I could not have done it without steady mentorship. I have seen firsthand how a driven and conscientious tutor can dramatically increase a student's motivation, confidence, and results.
Fun Fact: I was selected to be a part of a small cohort of students tasked with representing Indiana University at the National University of Singapore (ranked no.1 in Asia). The business exchange program allowed me to interact with top business students from across the globe and study under top professors. I encourage every student to look into study abroad options!

College Preparation:
I have coached and mentored students for college admissions for 3 years. Multiple students can attest to the value of crafting a personal brand to showcase to admissions officers, as it resulted in them receiving admissions from top programs. As someone who scored in the top 1% for both the ACT/SAT and received multiple top admissions, I was able to choose Indiana University due to my direct admission into their Honors Program and a large scholarship. I am grateful for my admission into a top 8 business program at a discounted cost, and I am willing to help others learn how I did it.
Collegiate Business Class Tutoring/Finance Recruiting:
If you think it ends at getting into college, you'd be wrong. Entry-level jobs are more difficult than ever, and you need to be in the right organizations, know the right people, AND have a high GPA. I have navigated through this process, constantly networking for finance roles while taking on heavy coursework. I received an internship at a large bank my sophomore summer, and another internship at an investment firm my junior year. I currently work in banking in a capital markets role, and I would love to help out those who have a keen interest in finance/business.
