Some years ago George was one of my own acting students at a top conservatoire, and a very good one, earning a national acting award along the way. After graduation, alongside his many and varied professional acting roles, he took up teaching and tutoring and I happily employed him, and when I retired I successfully nominated him to take over from me at another prestigious drama school.
