About Casey
I am a music education student based in Indiana. I’ve been playing double bass for almost 9 years now, have been actively gigging and teaching for almost 4 years. I currently work with a local youth symphony leading bass sectionals and also teaching a cello class for beginners.

I teach my beginning students on bass and cello by incorporating fundamental technique with ear training and theoretical concepts. I strive to make learning an instrument a fun activity, even when learning the basics. I believe music is a powerful tool for learning and dedicate myself to giving the gift of music to others.
