About Christian Phillip
Ciao! My name is Christian, and I am thrilled to be your partner in learning Italian. Born in Sydney but raised in Italy from a very young age, I offer a unique, bilingual perspective on the language and culture. My passion for languages began during my studies at the International Grammar School in Sydney, where I developed a love for Spanish, French, and German, before completing my education in Italy at the Istituto Tecnico per il Turismo.
I hold a degree in Political Science from the University of Napoli Federico II and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Beyond my academic background, I bring over 20 years of experience in luxury retail, including the last decade spent in management. This career has honed my ability to provide exceptional, personalized service, and I am now excited to channel that same professional dedication into helping you reach your language goals. I am a warm, reliable, and culturally rich tutor, and I cannot wait to share the beauty of the Italian language and culture with you!

While we will cover grammar and vocabulary, I prioritize applying them through conversation and real-life scenarios. To deepen your connection to Italy, I provide curated resources, including book recommendations, films, and music.
Learning a language requires commitment, and I am here to provide the strategies and support you need to succeed. I offer one-hour online sessions from Monday to Friday, in the afternoons and evenings. We will work as a team to ensure your progress is rewarding and effective. I am happy to have an initial chat to discuss your interests and how we can work together to achieve your goals. Whether you want to master travel phrases, excel in your school studies, or learn to speak like an Italian, I look forward to working with you.
