Hi , my friends, I am a certified and experienced Chinese Mandarin teacher with Chinese national teacher's certificate.
my name is Lisa, a native Chinese speaker, graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Tourism from Xi’an International Studies University. I can speak standard Mandarin, English and a little bit German, French and Japanese. Currently I am living in Xi'an, an ancient city with a long history in China.
I have 3+ years of experience as Chinese Mandarin teacher for a military medical university. I have started to work as an online Chinese teacher 1 year ago. I also had 3 years of experience as an overseas tour guide in an international travel agency. I had visited more than 20 countries around the world, and I love to make friends from different countries with different cultural background!
My specialties are: Conversational Chinese, HSK lessons for adults, YCT lessons for young learners and New target Chinese spoken language 新目标汉语口语 and any Chinese textbooks that you are interested in.
I think it is quite important to know each student has different learning style, and I will adapt my teaching method in time and create different classroom activities and contents for students in different levels and different ages.

I prefer interactive and heuristic teaching method, which enables sts to active participation and thinking. I hope sts can learn from games, flash cards, objects, books, handmade homework and other ways to let them enjoy Chinese learning. I will present abundant and fresh language materials that are closely related to our daily lives, so that sts can fully participate in class activities. Sts are the subject of learning, and I prefer to be only a guide. I will pay attention to each student's different cultural background, learning background and personality.
I will apply different method to different student. I will also customize appropriate courses for students according to their specific needs.
Lesson plan: For each class, we will quickly review what we have learned last time and lead into the new topic, and focus on the key words and sentences we are going to learn, I will create more chances for sts to practice and speak, and will invite and help sts to summarize the main contents of the lesson, and most importantly, I will assign the right amount of homework for them to practice after class.
