About Vance
I am a native Chinese teacher with an engineering and MBA background, and many years of experience in professional training, consulting, and coaching. I have also served as a Success Coach for a COO at MIT xPRO. This experience allows me to teach Mandarin beyond language itself, integrating cultural insights, business thinking, and logical problem-solving. I help students communicate effectively while developing structured thinking, clear expression, and goal-oriented learning habits.

Course Features
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I work closely with each student to understand their background, learning challenges, and personal goals. Based on this understanding, I design a fully customized Mandarin learning plan with carefully selected materials and a clear 3- to 12-month progression roadmap.
Each plan is divided into well-defined stages with clear learning objectives and measurable outcomes, so students and parents always know what they are working toward and what progress to expect. Beyond basic language skills, lessons integrate cultural understanding and real-life usage, helping children build confidence, communicate naturally, and use Mandarin meaningfully in academic and everyday situations.
