About Yanfei
Hi, I am a Chinese native speaker.
I’m good at teaching from new beginner also to high levels. I always prepare tailored learning materials for each student for each lesson.
Talking to people all around the world with different cultural backgrounds is something I have always enjoyed.
In my spare time, I love reading and painting. I also enjoy traveling and exploring some new places where I've never been to.

I will offer Chinese lessons for Kids or Grown-ups. If you have no basic knowledge of Chinese, don't worry, start learning with me. If you have already some lessons before, I can help you improve your speaking and listening skills in Chinese.
Every student is different, so I will prioritise your wishes, needs and learning goals. Our lessons will consist of a nice dialogue in which you will be able to learn new vocabulary. If you prefer working with written materials, we can do that as well. I am a quite patient person, who will take the time to explain everything along the way.
In our lessons we will mainly focus on conversation, so you will soon be able to say more in Chinese.
From experience, I can say that exposing yourself to the language and challenging yourself to speak is a very efficient way of learning. Of course, we will take it slow! First of all it's important to build a solid vocabulary basis. In the course of the lessons, we can also look at song lyrics, easy poems or some short texts of your choice. I will adapt to your personal wishes, whether that is grammar, writing, reading etc.
