About Yimeng
I am a native Chinese speaker with experience tutoring beginners.
I have worked with children and adult learners, which has helped me develop a patient, clear, and encouraging teaching style. I understand how challenging it can feel to learn a completely new language, especially at the beginning, so I always adapt my teaching pace to each student’s needs.
I teach Chinese because I truly enjoy helping others gain confidence in communication.
Seeing students go from feeling unsure to being able to speak simple Chinese sentences is very rewarding for me. I believe language learning should be practical, supportive, and enjoyable, and my goal is to help learners feel comfortable using Chinese in real-life situations, not just memorising words.
