About Neil
I’m currently a Chinese international undergraduate student studying in Australian National University.
I have significant experience in teaching and working with young students. When I was in China, I also did a part-time job as a teaching assistant in private teaching studios.
I am very extroverted, responsible, and patient. I am very willing to help you learn basic Chinese and Mandarin in an effective way.

I will start with the teaching of the pronunciation of Pinyin before teaching the writing and speaking of Chinese words and phrases.
We start from the basic skills of pronunciation before learning the specific common components of Chinese words when writing.
Translations from English to Chinese will be taught during the learning for better understanding of Mandarin and more efficient application in the real world life.
Through the learning with me, I promise you will gain confidence and passion for using Mandarin, and it will lay a foundation for your future learning of Chinese culture if you are interested.
