About Yuan

I am from China. I have recently completed my master’s degree in the UK in Finance and Accounting with CIMA, graduating with Distinction. I am proficient with both Chinese Mandarin and English.

I have been a math tutor for 1 year in the UK. I created study plans for my students and kept in touch with them regularly, helping them pass their national exams. I am a very patient individual who focuses on detail as well as providing an efficient service for my students. I have helped three students pass their National 5's Math exam.

About the lesson

In Mandarin, I can accept students at all levels. Mandarin is my mother tongue, and my pronunciation got the highest level of standard Mandarin certificate in China. My Chinese score was A in the high school HKCEE. My teaching range covers the lowest level of pronunciation to a high level of written comprehension.

In math, I am good at tutoring National 5 Math. Because I have one year's tutoring experience. The are three students I accepted were all Scottish local students, two of whom passed A-level. Of course, I communicate and tutor with students through English.

Chinese Mandarin can be tutored in any form, such as face-to-face, video or any other way. Mathematics would be through a face-to-face way to help understand.

I usually create a simple study plan before the course begins. When I meet with students for the first time, I will understand students' weaknesses by answering questions and modify the plans for different students. After the students have mastered all the topics, a round of review will be carried out. Then practice again on topics that are not mastered until the students master all of them.

I am a patient and enthusiastic tutor, and I often tell my past students: Please ask me whenever you have a question, and I will answer you in the first minute no matter where I am.
