About Sun
I have 38 years of experience in Chinese language teaching and educational research. I was awarded the title of Special-Grade Teacher and recognized as a National Outstanding Teacher in China. I have also authored more than ten books on Chinese language education and teaching. Throughout my teaching career, I have been dedicated to helping children build a strong foundation in Chinese while developing a genuine love for the language. My teaching is engaging, thoughtful, and student-centered. I pay close attention to each child’s individual needs, learning style, and progress. I am passionate about sharing my experience with children and helping them discover the beauty and joy of learning Chinese. My goal is not only to help students learn Chinese well, but also to give them confidence, curiosity, and a lasting interest in Chinese language and culture.

I offer personalized Chinese lessons for children, focusing on Chinese literacy, speaking, reading, and writing. With 38 years of teaching experience and the qualification of Special-Grade Teacher in China, I have extensive experience helping children develop strong and lasting Chinese language skills. My lessons are suitable for children at different levels, including beginners and heritage Chinese learners. Each lesson is tailored to the child’s age, current level, interests, and learning goals. Through engaging stories, reading materials, conversations, vocabulary building, and guided writing, I help students gradually improve their Chinese skills in a natural and enjoyable way. I also encourage children to think, express themselves, and build confidence in using Chinese. My goal is to make every lesson meaningful, enjoyable, and effective, so that children can learn Chinese well and develop a genuine love for the language.
