I’m the author of the ‘Learning Chinese the long way’ book and teaching Chinese is my hobby. I’m in love with China and everything related to it.

When it come to teaching and learning Chinese, it is considered the world’s most difficult language and I don’t agree with it. The real reason for this is the way Chinese is taught.

Especially with the development of mobile usage and the infrastructure like 4G and Wi-Fi Digital Transformation has to lead to the dramatic change in language learners behavior.

By cutting out the nonsense and mystique surrounding Chinese like rote-memorization, hand writing characters hundreds of times until they “stick” in our heads I believe we need to bring together the most efficient modern techniques and tools for learning to communicate and write in Chinese.

It’s very important to enjoy what you’re experiencing in order to learn from it.
