About Leonor
Hi! I'm a first-year chemistry student in the UK with a strong academic background and an interest in teaching. I want to help students improve their understanding as well as their confidence - this is more important than one might think! I would love to share some tips that I learnt and used for my revision and exams, helping students improve their grades. Whether you're aiming for the top grades or need a bit of extra support, I would love to help!

• I take a student-centred approach - tailoring to the student's needs and difficulties. I like to ensure students have a good understanding of the basics as this builds a strong foundation for more complex topics. I often use flashcards as an active recall method which I found worked very effectively for long-term memory and exam performance. Practice questions are also a very important aspect - doubts can be clarified and it helps students become familiar with mark schemes. • Lessons would typically last 45-60 minutes, depending on the student's preferences. • I am a first-year chemistry student with strong performance in IGCSE and IB chemistry and geography, and have tutored some GCSE students. • The lessons are for GCSE or IB/A level students.
