I'm a passionate Chemistry tutor with over 9 years of experience and a BSc in Chemistry and Nanoscience. I specialize in helping students truly grasp the beauty and complexity of bio-organic chemistry. My focus lies in exploring the chemical logic behind biological systems—how molecules interact, transform, and power life itself.
I work closely with university students to demystify reaction mechanisms in biochemistry. Whether it's understanding nucleophilic attacks, enzyme catalysis, or multi-step organic pathways, I guide learners to see the bigger picture. I believe that reaction mechanisms aren’t just arrows on paper—they’re the grammar of the chemical language we use to describe life.
One of my favorite areas to teach is enzyme catalysis. It brings together structure, function, and kinetics in a way that feels almost magical. I also support students in studying the synthesis of biologically active molecules, bridging theory with real-world pharmaceutical and research applications.
Many of my students have gone on to pursue careers in biochemistry and medicinal chemistry. It's incredibly rewarding to support the next generation of scientists and innovators. I adapt my teaching to each student’s needs, making complex topics approachable and engaging.
