About Vanya
My chemistry lessons focus on helping you excel in advanced test preparation, especially for the AP Chemistry exam. I use targeted drills and practice tests to build your confidence and sharpen your skills. Each session includes thorough explanations of complex theories and concepts to ensure deep understanding. You will learn how to solve challenging problems step-by-step and apply these skills in exam settings. I emphasise detailed experimental analysis, so you’re ready for lab-related questions with ease. Together, we will review key topics and identify your weak areas, then work on strengthening them efficiently. I provide strategies for time management and question prioritisation to maximise your test performance. This method not only boosts your knowledge but also reduces exam anxiety. By focusing on both content mastery and test-taking skills, you will be well-prepared for exam day. My goal is to help you achieve high scores through focused practice and expert guidance.

I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry. My passion lies in the fascinating world of food preservation chemistry and food analysis. I love exploring the chemical changes that happen during food spoilage and how antioxidants and emulsifiers play crucial roles in keeping food fresh. From canning and drying to fermentation, I enjoy unpacking the science behind various preservation methods. In my lessons, I guide students to understand these processes deeply, helping them see food safety and quality through a chemical lens. I believe that chemistry is at the heart of how we keep our food safe, nutritious, and delicious. Whether it’s studying how microbes interact with food or the role of preservatives, I make these concepts accessible and engaging. My goal is to help students build strong foundations in chemistry while connecting theory to real-world applications in food science. Together, we’ll uncover the secrets behind what happens to food at the molecular level. I invite you to join me in exploring the amazing chemistry that protects and enhances the food we enjoy every day.
