About Arden
With over 3 years of tutoring experience and an MSc in Industrial Chemistry, I teach Chemistry using both theory and computation. I believe chemistry should be understood, not memorised. I begin with core principles. Bonding and thermodynamics are explained first. Then I connect them to reaction pathways. Computational chemistry helps prediction. I teach quantum calculations step by step. Students learn how energy determines behaviour. We calculate molecular properties. Trends become clear. Molecular dynamics projects follow. Students observe simulated systems. I guide the use of chemical software tools. Practice builds confidence. I work closely with university learners. Research students also seek my support. They improve modelling and data interpretation. I encourage analytical thinking. My lessons remain practical and structured. Chemistry becomes a tool for solving problems. By the end, you will be a confident chemist with valuable computational skills.

My teaching method is relaxed and organised. I start with atomic particles and their roles. We carefully understand electron configuration. I explain energy shells simply. Orbitals become manageable ideas. I use drawings and examples. Chemical bonding is connected to everyday materials. Metals, gases, and liquids help learning. Students understand how atoms share or transfer electrons. Molecular geometry is taught with visual imagination. Shapes are remembered easily. VSEPR theory becomes clear. We analyse the periodic table logically. Trends such as ionisation energy make sense. Memorisation is minimised. I help students preparing for exams and general learning. I provide steady support. Practice questions are solved stepwise. I correct mistakes calmly. Confidence increases each session. You begin explaining concepts clearly. Chemistry becomes less stressful. Learning feels comfortable.
