My teaching method is active, where I engage students in asking questions, trying problems on their own after seeing a model, and learning from their mistakes. Lesson plans involve modeling, followed by students engaging in problems in their specific target areas. I believe in a combination of empathy, rigor, student-centered learning, and scaffolded difficulty to build up student confidence and mastery. These lessons are for students ranging from high school to introductory college-level chemistry. This includes honors chemistry, general chemistry, IB chemistry, and AP chemistry.
