About Ryan
I received my bachelor’s of science with a double major in chemistry and biochemistry in 2018. I then went on to receive my PhD in chemistry from Emory University in 2023. I currently work as a postdoctoral researcher at Georgia Tech as a biochemist. I first started tutoring when I was in undergrad for general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. I continued tutoring through my graduate career, tutoring at both the college and high school levels. Aside from tutoring, I’ve also designed and taught two courses as the instructor of record.

My lessons are direct and focused on exactly where the student has been struggling. I use active learning techniques combined with clear explanations to further the student’s understanding of a particular topic. I believe chemistry and biochemistry are best taught through practice, and I am willing to provide additional practice problems to assist with student learning and development.
