About Everett

My interest in Chemistry began during my Bachelor’s in Chemistry and was further developed through a Master’s in Analytical Chemistry. Over the past 6 years, I have taught students at various levels, helping them understand core concepts, practical lab techniques, and analytical reasoning. My approach emphasizes clarity, patient guidance, and structured practice, ensuring that learners can progress confidently from basic understanding to advanced application while maintaining curiosity and engagement.

I design lessons to encourage active participation, experimentation, and problem-solving. Beginners learn stepwise explanations and foundational concepts, while intermediate and advanced students are guided through complex reactions, experimental design, and analytical thinking exercises. I emphasize independent learning, critical questioning, and confidence-building so that students develop competence and a genuine interest in chemistry.

Outside teaching, I am engaged in laboratory research, experimental design, and keeping up-to-date with advancements in chemical science. This allows me to bring contemporary examples, practical relevance, and a sense of excitement to every lesson. Witnessing students grow from uncertainty to independent, confident thinkers capable of analyzing, experimenting, and reasoning critically is deeply rewarding. Observing their curiosity flourish and their skills develop motivates me to continue refining my teaching methods and delivering lessons that are both educational and inspiring.

Chemistry becomes fascinating when students understand how substances interact, transform, and influence the world around them. My lessons cover atomic theory, chemical bonding, reaction mechanisms, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, and practical laboratory skills. Each class emphasizes conceptual clarity, analytical reasoning, and hands-on problem-solving. I provide examples, stepwise explanations, and experiments to make abstract ideas tangible and enjoyable, enabling students to develop both competence and curiosity in the subject.

Intermediate learners focus on multi-step reactions, molecular modeling, data interpretation, and experimental planning, gaining confidence in applying theoretical knowledge practically. Advanced learners explore complex reaction mechanisms, analytical techniques, and synthesis design while developing precision, critical thinking, and independent problem-solving abilities. Each lesson combines theory with exercises, experiments, and feedback to ensure learners build mastery and confidence that can be applied in academic and real-world contexts.

Chemistry lessons enhance logical reasoning, problem-solving, and systematic thinking. Students learn to analyze situations, predict outcomes, and understand the scientific basis of phenomena. Over time, learners develop confidence, curiosity, and analytical rigor. My goal is to guide students toward becoming independent thinkers who can approach challenges scientifically, apply knowledge practically, and appreciate the role of chemistry in understanding and improving the world around them.
