About Nyra
My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about how invisible molecular interactions create powerful changes in the world we experience. I earned a B.Sc in Analytical Chemistry and later completed an M.Sc in Molecular Science, which gave me both technical depth and conceptual clarity. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped students build strong foundations through supportive explanation and structured learning.
I believe chemistry should feel approachable and meaningful for every learner. My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex reactions into manageable steps, using real-world examples, diagrams, and guided problem solving. I encourage students to ask questions freely and develop confidence through reasoning rather than memorization.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with chemistry through continual reading, scientific exploration, and interest in modern chemical research. Teaching chemistry is rewarding because learners often transform from uncertainty into confident scientific thinkers. Supporting that growth is deeply fulfilling to me.

Chemistry becomes truly exciting when students begin to see it as the science of transformation happening all around them. In my lessons, I guide learners through atomic theory, chemical bonding, reaction balancing, acids and bases, equilibrium, and organic foundations with calm structure and clear reasoning. I focus on making chemistry feel logical and connected, not confusing or overwhelming. Each session is designed to build confidence step by step.
Lessons are adapted to every learner’s stage. Beginners work on understanding formulas, periodic trends, and simple reactions through guided practice and visual explanation. Intermediate students strengthen mole calculations, concentration problems, thermodynamics, and lab-based reasoning with consistent support. Advanced learners explore kinetics, equilibrium systems, organic mechanisms, and exam-level applications with detailed feedback. Practice tasks are always paired with correction and explanation.
Chemistry lessons also develop scientific thinking beyond the classroom. Many learners gain confidence when they understand chemistry’s role in medicine, environment, and industry. My goal is to help students master chemical logic and feel empowered through understanding.
