About Olusola Olufemi
Hello! I'm Akande O. Olufemi, a passionate and experienced Chemistry teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. I hold a B.Sc.Ed. in Chemistry Education from the University of Uyo and have postgraduate training in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Ibadan. I am a licensed teacher registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and also hold a TEFL/TESOL certification.
I have taught students following both the Nigerian curriculum (WAEC, NECO, UTME) and the British curriculum (IGCSE and Checkpoint). I enjoy making Chemistry simple, practical, and interesting, especially topics that many students find challenging.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy creating educational resources, mentoring students, and continually improving my teaching methods. I believe every student can excel in Chemistry with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning approach, and I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals.

I simplify complex chemistry concepts using clear explanations, real-life examples, diagrams, and practical laboratory applications. I particularly enjoy helping students master challenging topics such as electrolysis, redox reactions, organic chemistry, chemical calculations (stoichiometry), equilibrium, and electro-(lytic/chemical) cells. My goal is to break difficult ideas into simple, logical steps that build confidence and help students achieve lasting understanding and examination success.
