About Payal
My interest in chemistry began during my early education when I first noticed how scientific experiments could explain everyday materials and reactions. This curiosity encouraged me to continue studying chemistry at higher levels of education. Eventually, I completed a PhD in Chemistry, focusing on understanding how molecular interactions influence chemical reactions. During my academic journey, I discovered that I enjoyed teaching just as much as studying science. Sharing complex ideas in a simple and understandable way became one of my favorite parts of working in this field.
Over the past 9 years, I have taught students from different academic backgrounds, including school learners and university beginners. Through these experiences, I learned that each student understands science differently. Some learners prefer visual explanations, while others learn best through practice problems or discussion. Because of this, I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace and comfort level. I focus on patience and clarity so students feel supported as they work through challenging topics.
Outside of teaching, I continue reading about developments in chemical research and environmental science. Staying informed helps me bring new examples and ideas into my lessons. Teaching chemistry allows me to share the excitement of scientific discovery while helping students build useful academic skills. Watching learners move from confusion to understanding is always rewarding. My goal is to guide students toward confidence in chemistry while encouraging curiosity about the scientific principles that shape the world around us.

Chemistry often seems challenging when students only see formulas and equations without understanding the ideas behind them. My lessons focus on explaining the meaning of chemical concepts so learners can see how reactions and substances behave in predictable ways. We begin with the basic structure of matter, including atoms, elements, and molecules. Once students understand these foundations, it becomes easier to explore reactions, bonding, and energy changes. I aim to create lessons where students can connect chemical ideas with everyday observations. For example, we may discuss how cooking, cleaning products, or environmental changes involve chemical processes. When students relate chemistry to real situations, the subject becomes more understandable and less intimidating.
During each lesson, I guide students through important topics such as periodic trends, bonding structures, acids and bases, and reaction balancing. Instead of rushing through information, I break down complex topics into smaller steps. Students practice solving problems while I explain the reasoning behind each stage of the solution. Diagrams and simple visual explanations help learners understand how particles interact during reactions. I also encourage students to ask questions and think actively about the material. When learners participate in the discussion, they begin to develop stronger analytical skills and a clearer understanding of chemical principles.
As students continue learning, they begin to notice chemistry in many parts of daily life. Concepts like energy transfer, material properties, and environmental chemistry become easier to recognize. These lessons also help students prepare for exams by strengthening both conceptual understanding and problem-solving ability. My goal is to help learners feel comfortable approaching chemistry questions and thinking logically about scientific problems. With steady practice and supportive guidance, students gradually develop confidence and begin to see chemistry as a meaningful subject that explains how the physical world works.
