About Autumn
My interest in chemistry developed through a fascination with how microscopic interactions produce large-scale effects in materials and reactions. This curiosity led me to complete a B.Sc in Industrial Chemistry, where I gained strong grounding in both theoretical and applied chemical science. Over 9 years of teaching, I have worked with students from varied academic backgrounds, helping them replace confusion with structured understanding and long-term confidence.
I believe effective chemistry teaching requires patience, clarity, and adaptability. I take time to understand how each student thinks, adjusting explanations to suit their pace and learning style. Whether using diagrams, analogies, calculation walkthroughs, or conceptual questioning, I aim to make chemistry feel logical and approachable rather than overwhelming.
Outside teaching, I stay connected to chemistry through continued reading, material science exploration, and real-world application studies. This ongoing engagement allows me to bring relevance and depth into lessons. Teaching chemistry is meaningful to me because I witness students transform from uncertainty into confidence, developing skills that support both academic success and thoughtful problem-solving in everyday life.

Chemistry lessons are designed to help students clearly understand how substances interact, transform, and influence the world around them. I focus on building strong conceptual foundations in atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, acids and bases, and reaction mechanisms. Each lesson breaks down abstract ideas into logical, relatable explanations that help students see chemistry as a connected system rather than isolated formulas. By linking theory with everyday examples, students begin to recognize chemistry in cooking, medicine, materials, and environmental processes.
Lessons are adapted to the student’s academic level and learning goals. Beginners are guided patiently through core concepts using visual explanations, stepwise calculations, and clear terminology. Intermediate learners strengthen problem-solving skills, lab-based reasoning, and equation balancing through structured practice and guided correction. Advanced students work on reaction pathways, quantitative analysis, exam strategies, and deeper conceptual justification. Every lesson includes discussion, application questions, and reinforcement to ensure steady understanding.
Beyond grades, chemistry lessons help students develop analytical thinking, attention to detail, and confidence in handling complex information. As students gain clarity, they become less anxious and more curious, approaching challenges with calm reasoning. My goal is to help learners feel capable, prepared, and intellectually empowered when engaging with chemical concepts.
