About Eden
I hold a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, with 12 years of experience teaching chemistry to students from diverse academic backgrounds. My academic journey allowed me to explore chemistry in depth, from molecular structure and reaction mechanisms to applied chemical problem-solving. This strong foundation enables me to explain complex ideas in ways that feel organized, logical, and approachable for learners. My teaching philosophy is centered on patience, clarity, and encouragement. I take time to understand how each student processes information and where they may feel uncertain. By adapting explanations, revisiting concepts when needed, and offering reassurance, I help students build genuine confidence rather than temporary understanding. Outside the classroom, I remain actively engaged with chemistry through continued study, curriculum refinement, and concept exploration. Teaching chemistry is deeply rewarding for me because I witness students move from hesitation to clarity, developing not only academic strength but also confidence in their ability to understand and reason scientifically.

Chemistry becomes far more approachable when students understand how abstract concepts connect to observable chemical behavior. Learners begin with atomic structure, periodic properties, chemical bonding, and stoichiometry to establish a solid base. As understanding deepens, lessons expand into thermodynamics, equilibrium, reaction kinetics, acids and bases, electrochemistry, and organic reaction fundamentals. I emphasize balanced equations, reaction mechanisms, and systematic problem-solving approaches so students develop both accuracy and reasoning skill.
Chemistry lessons also strengthen patience, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. Over time, students become more confident handling complex problems and explaining chemical processes clearly. My goal is to help learners feel capable, curious, and secure in their understanding of chemistry.
