About Hana
With more than five years of tutoring experience and a Master’s in Supramolecular Chemistry, I love bringing materials science to life for students. My specialty is in polymers and functional materials, where small molecular changes can make a big difference. I often use case studies of plastics, composites, and nanomaterials to show how chemistry powers innovation. These examples link classroom learning to industries such as medicine, electronics, and sustainability. I focus on guiding students to understand how chemical structure influences performance and function. This approach builds deeper insight and confidence. I keep my lessons interactive, using real-world problems and discussions to spark curiosity. My goal is to make complex topics accessible and engaging. I encourage learners to think critically and see themselves as problem-solvers. Over the years, I’ve helped students develop both academic skills and scientific curiosity. I believe chemistry has the power to change the way we live. Together, we’ll uncover how it shapes the materials of tomorrow.

I believe chemistry can be mastered with the right mix of explanation and practice. My approach combines deep theoretical discussions with structured problem-solving. For AP Chemistry, I focus on the areas that often challenge students most—stoichiometry, bonding, and energy changes. I use targeted drills to reinforce these concepts until they feel natural. Practice exams are a central part of my teaching, helping students prepare for real test conditions. I also highlight experimental analysis, showing how data connects with theory. This builds both reasoning skills and exam readiness. My lessons are interactive and adapted to each learner’s needs. I encourage persistence and curiosity while providing clear strategies. Students often feel more prepared after working through complex problems step by step. Confidence grows as they practice under realistic conditions. I believe every learner can improve with the right guidance. Let’s focus together on building the knowledge and strategies for exam success.
