I have truly never met anyone who explains the subject at such an in-depth level, while breaking it down so everyone listening is able to make sense of it. From reviewing basic stoichiometry to simplifying the complex unit of thermodynamics, she takes the time to ensure every concept is clear. Believe me when I say I'm no chemistry genius in the slightest, but Ms. Holtzman has played such a crucial role in my learning. She's an incredible teacher who genuinely cares about her students and goes above and beyond to ensure our success!

Ms. Holtzman was my AP Psychology and Capstone Science teacher in high school, and she also provided me with support in AP Chemistry. What stood out most about her teaching was her organization. Each class followed a clear and consistent routine, which made it easy to know what to expect and stay on track with the material. She took the time to include visuals and other illustrations while teaching to further her explanations regarding various concepts. She also made sure to present multiple examples to reinforce new information. Despite her busy schedule, she always made time throughout the day to meet with students individually and answer their questions. From being in her classes, I have learned to break down complex questions into manageable parts, a strategy that I will continue to leverage as I enter college. Above all, Ms. Holtzman is a very kind and dedicated teacher who always prioritizes her students' success, which is why I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.
