About Benjamin
After years of AP science classes in high school, including AP Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, I developed a love for physical sciences. Currently, I am a Senior at BYU pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry.
This summer, I took the MCAT (Medical School Admissions Test) and scored in the 97th percentile of all students nation-wide. I am currently applying to medical schools with the hope of beginning my journey becoming a physician next year!
Throughout my time at BYU, I have consistently been ranked at the top of my class. Having been on the Dean's List for the College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, I have maintained a 3.96 GPA at BYU.
I am now an MCAT mentor, as well as a tutor for high school and college science classes.

I believe that no matter what one's scientific background, it is possible, through hard work and determination, to master difficult concepts! When I meet with new students, I first evaluate their understanding of the material they are struggling with and then tailor our studies according to their needs.
While completing homework and assignments is indeed important, I sincerely believe that helping students understand WHY things happen is the most important thing for academic success.
