About Kanhai
Hello! I’m Kanhai, a passionate chemistry tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience and a strong research background in electrochemistry and catalysis.
I hold an MS from IISc and I am currently in the final stage of my PhD at IISc, specializing in electrochemistry and catalysis.
I specialize in simplifying complex chemistry concepts—whether it’s basic topics like atomic structure and bonding or advanced topics like reaction mechanisms, electrochemistry, and catalysis.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, problem-solving, and building strong fundamentals so students truly understand the subject, not just memorize it. I always adapt my lessons based on each student’s level and learning style.
I have experience teaching school and college students, as well as guiding learners in advanced and research-level chemistry.
I enjoy teaching because I believe knowledge should be shared in a simple and meaningful way. Helping students gain confidence and truly understand chemistry is what motivates me as a tutor.

My standard fee is ₹1899 per hour for one-to-one personalized chemistry sessions.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goals, covering clear concept explanations, problem-solving practice, and exam-oriented preparation for school and college-level chemistry.
With over 8 years of teaching experience and an IISc background, I also offer specialized guidance in advanced topics such as electrochemistry, reaction mechanisms, and catalysis.
For advanced or research-level support, fees may vary depending on the depth of the topic and preparation required.
