About Tyra
I'm a Chemical Engineering student who has always enjoyed Maths and the satisfaction of finally understanding a once-impossible-to-understand topic. I've always enjoyed helping others, from peer tutoring Maths in high school to taking up leadership roles in my community. I am interested in tutoring as I love seeing that "aha!" moment when something clicks and I want to make Maths feel less intimidating and more achievable for every student. Being young as well, I can relate to my students on how difficult school can be and I would love to make you feel less alone - we were all once in your position!

My lessons are relaxed, personalised and focused on real understanding - not just memorisation! I break tricky topics into simple steps, working at your pace and helping you build the confidence to tackle Maths independently. We'll turn "I don't get it" into "I can do this!" whilst keeping a stress-free environment.
