About Jaqueline
Hello! My name is Jacqueline, and I am a passionate, qualified educator with over five years of teaching experience in a dual language immersion program in Long Beach, California. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and I specialize in working with young learners ages 5 to 10. As a certified bilingual teacher, I understand the importance of creating a positive, engaging, and supportive environment where children can confidently develop language skills in both Spanish and English. My lessons are carefully planned, standards-based, and tailored to meet each student’s needs, interests, and learning style. Hello! I'm Jaqueline, a certified bilingual educator with five years of experience teaching in a dual immersion Spanish program in Long Beach, California. My teaching approach is student-centered, culturally responsive, and grounded in the Guiding Principles for Dual Language Education.
I design my lessons around the California Common Core Standards, ensuring academic rigor while adapting to each student’s individual pace and learning style.
