About Margaret
Additionally, I have been a private and public school counselor and am well equipped to help students better handle test anxiety and other emotional difficulties related to educational performance inhibitors. My training, and education are in special education and I am great at finding ways to provide content in a format that is concrete. I have experience with students from college to kindergarten and have written curriculum for various age groups. For example; when teaching students about ratios and fractions, I use multiple techniques with visible and tactile tools if possible. Money and measuring cups are two excellent tools. I also use games and fun activities for learning to read, spelling, and comprehension and composition.
