About Mushka
I am a New York State certified Special Education teacher with experience supporting students who learn differently. I specialize in working with students with language-based learning disabilities, helping them build the foundational skills they need to become confident, independent learners. My work centers around literacy development, with a strong emphasis on reading, spelling, and written expression. I integrate structured, evidence-based programs such as Wilson Fundations, Barton, and Orton-Gillingham methods to target phonological awareness, decoding, and comprehension.
