About Jamie

I have been teaching young people in the classroom and in a one-on-one setting for over 8 years. I have reached thousands of students, helping them deepen their scientific understanding and successfully reach their goals. Before I start working with a student in a one-on-one setting, I will help them set an academic goal; stating what they want to get out of our lessons. I have been extremely successful in guiding my learners in achieving that goal. I have helped many students pass a class, get an A on a test, or graduate from high school depending on their needs.

About the lesson

I am a certified teacher, who specializes in secondary science. I have spent the last 8 years teaching all realms of science 4th-12 grade. My professional focus is on curriculum design and differentiation within the classroom. I excel in helping every learner be successful by relating the content to my students' lives. I believe that every child can master scientific concepts, when given explanations and examples that fit their learning style.
