About Brandon
I’m a Texas‑born educator with a lifelong passion for helping children grow and succeed. Teaching runs deep in my family—I’m a 5th‑generation teacher, so you could say education is truly in my genes.
I graduated from high school early as a junior in 2016, then continued my education at Lee College, where I earned an Associate of Arts in Education. I later attended University of Houston–Clear Lake (UHCL), earning my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and becoming certified in EC–6th Grade Education.
I began teaching in 2020, during the height of COVID, where I gained valuable experience teaching virtually and learned how to effectively support students online. Since then, I have continued teaching both virtually and in person, and I am now in my 6th year of teaching.
I’ve always wanted to be someone who helps children grow—not just academically, but in confidence and independence as learners. I believe every child can succeed with the right support, patience, and instruction, and I’m dedicated to creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel safe to learn and take risks.

My reading lessons are structured, explicit, and engaging, designed to help students build strong foundational skills and confidence. I use research‑based literacy practices that focus on phonics, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Lessons are step‑by‑step and multi‑sensory, giving students repeated opportunities to practice new skills in a clear and supportive way. I provide targeted instruction based on each child’s needs and adjust pacing to ensure understanding and success.
My goal is to help students not only improve their reading skills, but also develop a love for reading and confidence as learners
