Super Tutor

Faria is one of our best English tutors. High-quality profile, qualifications verified, organised and responsive to lesson requests, and appreciated by their students.

About Faria

I am a certified New York elementary teacher, and have previously worked with younger students in not-for-profit organizations. I have taken math, English, French, science, and social studies courses (history, economics, anthropology) that I can tutor you in. I am more than happy to help you with any other course and subject upon request :) I am currently tutoring students in literacy (reading/writing) and math.

About the lesson

I base my classes on individuality, and breaking the content into smaller learning goals, suitable to your learning style. I simplify the material into words that you are most comfortable and familiar with. I give a lot of analogies (examples) that are common and relatable at the age-appropriate level. I will also work with you on extra practice resources (that I will provide to you) to help you master the subject.

Reviews

All the reviews collected from students are verified by our team. They are therefore reliable and correspond to a real experience with Faria.

Perfect! Faria is a great teacher. She is patient and very compassionate. She sculpts her lessons around her student to create unique study environment. Her lessons are understandable, yet challenges the student to learn new things. She has motivated Asmaa to start reading more, and to not give up if she reaches difficulties.

Faria's response
It has been a pleasure to work with Asmaa. It’s great to find family who support and encourage their student’s learning.

I knew Faria in high school when I first came to Canada. She helped me a lot with my courses due to the language problem I had. She is thoughtful and always explains everything in detail to me. If it's something that she's not sure about, she will search for the answer before explaining it to me. Faria is absolutely a great teacher because she never gets mad even though I have a lot of annoying questions, and she always makes sure what she said can actually help someone.

Faria is an amazing person! She is very passionate with what she teaches. I remembered there was one time that I asked her about Biology and she went above and beyond and gave me a super helpful tips to remember all terminologies. Also, she is very patient as well. She had no problem to go over the material until I told her that I understood completely. I wish that she could tutor all of my classes. Best tutor that you could have ever asked!
