About Ilenia
¡Hola! I’m Ilenia, I’m 34 years old and I’m a native Spanish teacher from San Sebastián with 11+ years of international experience (UK, Australia, and Germany).
Outside the classroom, I love travelling! I’ve lived in three countries over the last decade, and building a life in new places has been incredibly enriching. I’m passionate about my culture and language, and I enjoy organising conversation-exchange events and connecting with multicultural communities wherever I go.
I have 8 years of experience teaching at Spanish House London, working with both adults and children. In Melbourne, I taught group classes from A1 to C1 at El Patio and worked as a DELE examiner at Instituto Cervantes for 2 years. I'm also a travel writer and content creator for Devour tours focusing on my hometown, San Sebastián.
PS: I'm learning German from scratch so I know what it is to be a language student
