About Grace

Hi there! My name is Grace, and I’m a professional Mandarin teacher with over 10 years of teaching and communication experience. I hold a Master’s degree from Auckland University of Technology, a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and Hosting Art from Sichuan University of Media and Communications, a TEFL certificate, and a First Class Mandarin Proficiency Certificate. My lessons are clear, structured, and engaging. I specialize in helping students improve pronunciation, tone accuracy, and natural sentence building, so they can speak confidently in real-life situations. I’ve worked with both children and adults from beginner to intermediate levels. As a bilingual teacher fluent in English and Mandarin, I make sure every learner feels supported and understood. My goal is to help you not only learn Chinese, but also enjoy the process and gain confidence in using it every day.

About the lesson

My classes are interactive, structured, and focused on real communication. I help students build a strong foundation in pronunciation and tones, then guide them to connect words into natural sentences. Each lesson lasts about 50–60 minutes and includes conversation, grammar in context, and cultural insights. I hold a Master’s degree from Auckland University of Technology, a Bachelor’s in Broadcasting and Hosting Art, a TEFL certificate, and a First-Class Mandarin Proficiency Certificate. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I teach both children and adults, from beginners to intermediate learners, in a patient and encouraging way.
