About Helen

Hello! I’m a native Korean tutor based in Calgary, Canada.

As a language learner myself, I understand that real progress comes from more than simply studying vocabulary or memorizing expressions. Students need a clear learning path, regular practice, useful feedback, and the confidence to actually use what they learn.

My lessons are structured around your current level and personal goals. I assess your strengths and areas for improvement, help you understand what to focus on next, and adjust the lessons as you progress. Through guided practice, correction, and conversation, I help you build Korean step by step and become a more independent and confident speaker.

I also work as a community interpreter, so communication across languages and cultures is an important part of what I do.

About the lesson
