About Purva

About Purva — Life Coach, Career Coach & Leadership Development Coach

I did not become a coach by stepping away from the professional world. I became a coach by going deeper into it — and discovering that the most powerful thing I could offer the people around me was not just operational excellence, but genuine human clarity.

For nine years, I have worked as a Chief of Staff and Strategic Advisor in Founder's Offices across global organizations — sitting in rooms where careers are made and lost, where leaders face their most difficult decisions, and where the gap between a person's potential and their performance is determined not by intelligence or effort, but by clarity, self-awareness, and the quality of the questions they are asking themselves.

That proximity to high-stakes professional life — combined with rigorous coaching certification and a commitment to continuous learning — is what I bring to every coaching engagement.

My Qualifications

I am a Certified Global Master Life Coach, Life Purpose Coach, and Career Coach — certified through internationally recognized programs aligned with ICF (International Coaching Federation) standards. I hold a Certified Life Coach qualification from 3PM / FairTell, and have completed coaching and leadership education from:

Harvard Business School — Leadership & Strategy, Empathetic Leadership
University of Oxford — Women's Leadership Development
MIT Sloan — Design Thinking & Innovation
Wharton / University of Pennsylvania — Business Strategy
IIM Bangalore — Project, Portfolio & Programme Management
XLRI Jamshedpur — Leadership & Change Management
MBA in Management & IT

Beyond coaching certifications, I hold professional qualifications that bring analytical rigor and structured thinking to my practice: Six Sigma Black Belt, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master, and Lean Management Professional.

I have been recognized with the Global Women's Influencer Award (Singapore), the India's Achievers Award for Outstanding Professional Achievement (IAF / Government of India), and the Business & Community Award (AIBCF) — recognition that reflects not just professional achievement, but the commitment to using that achievement in service of others.

What Makes Me Different

Most coaches come from one of two directions: they have deep coaching methodology but limited real-world professional experience, or they have strong professional experience but have not invested in rigorous coaching training. I have spent years building both — deliberately and simultaneously.

When I coach a professional on navigating a career pivot, I have personally made difficult professional transitions and helped others do the same. When I coach on leadership presence or influence without authority, I have spent nine years building both in demanding, high-stakes environments with real consequences. When I coach on life purpose, I speak from genuine reflection — not from a framework applied to someone else's experience.

I am also a National SDG Ambassador for the United Nations (Central India) and an Advisor to the Government of India — roles that reflect a deep commitment to using my professional capability in service of others, not just in service of organizational outcomes.

My Coaching Philosophy

I believe that most people already know what they need to do. What they are missing is the space, the honest mirror, and the structured accountability to act on what they know.

My role as a coach is not to tell you what to do. It is to ask the question that makes the right answer visible — and then to hold you accountable to the decision you make with genuine conviction.

I work with adults — working professionals, senior executives, entrepreneurs, and career changers — who are ready for an honest conversation. Not a comfortable one. An honest one.

Every coaching engagement I take on has a defined objective, a structured approach, and a clear measure of success. I do not consider a coaching engagement successful because the client felt inspired during sessions. I consider it successful when something specific and lasting has changed in their life, career, or leadership.

If that is the kind of coaching you are looking for — I would be glad to work with you.

My Approach as a Life Coach & Teacher-

Who My Coaching Is For-

My coaching is designed for students/ adults — working professionals, senior executives, entrepreneurs, career changers, and high-achievers who feel they are operating below their potential. I work with people who are already doing
well by external measures but feel an internal disconnect — between where they are and where they genuinely want to be, between what they are doing and what they were meant to do. I also work with early-career professionals who want to build the right foundation from the very beginning rather than spend ten years figuring out what I can help them clarify in a few sessions.

My Teaching & Coaching Techniques

My approach draws from three distinct disciplines — and the combination is what makes it different from standard coaching.

First, I use ICF-aligned life coaching methodology — structured, outcome-focused, evidence-based. Every session begins with a clear intention and ends with a specific commitment. I do not believe in open-ended conversations that feel productive but change nothing. Every session produces something tangible: a decision made, a belief examined, an action committed to.

Second, I bring Harvard Business School's empathetic leadership frameworks and MIT Sloan's Design Thinking methodology into my coaching practice. Design Thinking — the same approach I have applied to organizational transformation across four global organizations — is extraordinarily powerful when applied to personal and career design. We prototype, we test assumptions, we iterate. We treat your life and career as a design challenge rather than a fixed path.

Third, I bring nine years of real Founder's Office experience. When I coach a professional on navigating a difficult conversation with their CEO, on building influence without authority, on designing a career pivot, or on finding their purpose under pressure — I am not speaking from a textbook. I have lived these situations, in high-stakes environments, with real consequences. That practitioner depth is what separates my coaching from most.

How a Typical Session Is Structured

Each session runs for 60 minutes and follows a clear structure:

Opening (5 minutes) — We establish the intention for the session. What is the one thing, if we resolve it today, that would make this hour genuinely valuable? This prevents sessions from drifting.

Exploration (25 minutes) — I ask questions designed to surface what the client already knows but has not yet named. My role here is not to give answers — it is to ask the question that makes the right answer visible. Honest, specific, sometimes uncomfortable questions.

Insight & Reframe (15 minutes) — We examine the belief, assumption, or pattern that is creating the gap between where the client is and where they want to be. I bring in frameworks, evidence, and real-world examples where they help — but I never impose a framework where the client's own insight is stronger.

Commitment (10 minutes) — Every session ends with a specific, named commitment. Not "I will think about it." A named action, a named date, and a named measure of completion. This is the accountability architecture that makes coaching produce real outcomes rather than interesting conversations.

Between Sessions — Clients receive a session summary with their commitment captured in writing, and optional reflection prompts to deepen the work between sessions.

My Special Features as a Coach

Honesty over comfort. The most valuable thing I offer is the truth that your environment is not designed to deliver. I tell clients what the evidence shows about their situation, their patterns, and their narrative — even when it is not what they hoped to hear. Not with harshness — with the genuine care of someone who wants the outcome to be real, not the session to feel pleasant.

Practitioner depth, not theoretical knowledge. I have spent nine years operating at the intersection of maximum complexity, maximum consequence, and maximum stakeholder pressure — as a Chief of Staff and Strategic Advisor in Founder's Offices across global organizations. I coach career, leadership, and life design from lived experience, not from a certification alone.

Measurable outcomes. I do not consider a coaching engagement successful because the client felt better after sessions. I consider it successful when something specific has changed — a career direction clarified, a leadership challenge resolved, a salary negotiated upward, a life decision made with genuine conviction. My coaching has a defined objective, structured milestones, and a clear measure of success.

Multilingual. Sessions are available in English and Hindi — making my coaching genuinely accessible to professionals across India.
