About Alison

I am a certified Chinese teacher, writer, and book translator with a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. Teaching has always been my passion. I design customized lesson plans based on each student’s learning style and goals, ensuring that every class is engaging, effective, practical, and enjoyable.
I currently teach Mandarin part‑time both online and at a local language school. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, watching movies, playing the Chinese instrument Guzheng, and traveling.

Perfect! Alison, Yuzhen Lao Shi, speaks excellent English and focuses on correct Chinese pronunciation. She has a foundational approach which helps when learning a second language. She has a flexible schedule which works well for me. I feel I will learn alot from her.
