About Maya

I am a licensed elementary educator with a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and 4 years of classroom experience working with diverse learners. I specialize in helping students build strong academic foundations in reading, writing, and math while also developing confidence and independence as learners.

My teaching is rooted in relationship building, structure, and encouragement. About the lesson

As a licensed elementary teacher with a Master’s in Elementary Education, I specialize in creating engaging, structured, and highly individualized learning experiences for students in grades K–5. Maya has always had a special love for children. As a toddler she always had a baby doll that she would carry around with her, taking care of it as if it was a real baby. She started babysitting as young as 10 or 11 years old and continued on even through college.
